do you have samples where you used this? Kinda interrested here...althought Im saving up for something a little more on the high end.....$1200 to 1400.....

i would be willing to charge you far more than $1400 for the sake of making you feel better-- feel free to pm me your price ceiling and i will be happy to meet or exceed it.
i haven't really used this too much as i bought it based on its reputation and to use as an extra channel for drums and live channel strip-- uses that have come into play zero times (i keep telling myself that i'm downsizing my setup and then buying things anyway). it is in excellent working condition however. the meek compression has a well-deserved reputation and i'm surprised at how much you can shape the sound with the meekqualizer. still, i've been using my langevin dvc in the places i might use this unit as it has essentially the same feature set.
i could probably make some samples for you, with that the caveat that ymmv based on the source, acoustics of my space, microphone choice, etc. let me know what you're interested in.

i dunno-- i might take one plus cash (i have a pretty good idea what you paid for 'em ). i'm always interested in hearing what's available-- strangely, i'm pretty set with my gear, so for trades i'd be interested in hearing just about any offer relating to recording gear, guitar stuff, bass stuff*.

*that doesn't suck
