Sonar Mono track prob

Hey guys. in sonar i am trying to use an amp sim and freespace. When i record in mono i can hear the dry sound and i can hear the amp sims sound together. when it is in stereo i hear the amp sim sound on the left and the dry sound on the right. i have no idea how to fix it and its driving me crazy.
