That was spectacular. I need to learn the rules to appreciate the sport more, but these guys are men.

You might want to post this next time someone says rugby players don't subject themselves to the same kind of brutal hits American football players do.

Outstanding! Great segment! No pads either. Some of the hits are huge. The TV is deceptive as you don't get to see how big these guys are. Not only that, they are fast too.

This World Cup is producing some exciting matches and it is only going to get better.

Thanks for that clip dude!

Woohooo! Go Canada!

Check this out - the All Blacks issue a Maori challenge before every game called the haka.....

Check out the throat slit move at the end....

Yeah, I saw all those. Intense!

I found this, which has nothing to do with Rugby, but everything to do with expresiion...hehe.

I remember reading or hearing somewhere that even though the Haka has alot of violent moves in it, like the throat-slit, it's really done as a tribute, or in respect to, the opponent.

Spot on. It is all about issuing a challenge. Rugby is a very physical game and the ABs are simply showing they are up for it. It is a bit of history and add colour to the game.

Man. I`d love to share drink and a steak with you.

I like to get immersed in things before I decide they are or aren`t for me. I dig anything that`s `REAL`, weather it`s music, sports, culture, or whatever.....this stuff scrathes me right where I itch.

American footballers are covered in padding etc, with big helmets. Rugby players are mostly unprotected.

Hey Rami, just in case you think it's only the Southern Hemisphere teams who can play rugby (like Wilko thinks ), here's some good stuff. Ireland v England in February this year in the six nations championship:

Cool stuff. The first time since the Championship began in 1883 that England gives up more than 40 points!!!

Actually, Rugby is catching on here in Canada, too. My 17 year old nephew, who was a star running back in football, has switched to Rugby and loves it. He's trying out for the Under-18 National team.

Great sport to watch from the sidelines.

LOL! I was disappoited about the Ireland France match. I was really hoping that you would win.

We are worried in NZ as the ABs have not had a tough game yet. I just hope we don't choke again...
