Guitar in stereo?

I cant get my guitar to record in stereo, although when Im playing it does come through in stereo.

what can I do?

also how do I have reason recorded on a separate track? without it playing the whole time when Im trying to record the guitar?
basically rewire reason beat on track one
layer guitar on it by itself .

You need two different signals to record on stereo...you got to use two different mics on your guitar. one mic will be recorded as left and the other one as right
