Mastering with Adobe Audition
I experimented with the mastering feature of Adobe Audition last night on a compilation of 20 songs that were extremely close to each other peak volume wise.
I ran it twice at two different levels and to be honest I feel that the source tracks were fine unmastered. I may have done something wrong. I'm not sure. Anyone have experience with it? |

What mastering feature? Adobe Audition IS a tool for mixing and mastering.
Anyways, since a perfect mix don't need any special care during mastering, it could well be the case that everything you need is convert to 44100 Hz (if applicable), normalize it, and then dither to 16 bit. |
