I like cats, but......

shouldn't there be a dog forum too. In all fairness. Dogs are more popular than cats.

yeah, and there should be a cheese forum too. Everybody likes cheese. Oh, and don't forget a washing machine forum. They're useful. Or maybe this place should be about home recording, with one off topic forum to cover everything else?

Cool. How about a fishing forum, where me and Greg L can go and talk about fishing, and be all manly (in the straightest way possible)?

Cool.

I am all for cats. I love the two I have. But let's not get too carried away with their worth. While they are nice companions, dogs are indeed FAR more important in our society!

Dogs can do a lot of stuff and nobody's putting them down.

You can't possibly imagine how important cats actually are in our society, because there's no way of "measuring" how much they do for us and how many people they've helped. And that's nothing personal against you...I don't know it all either, but I'm working on finding out.

If doesn't surprise me that cats are more popular. They don't require bathing or walking for a start. I like dogs, but it wouldn't be fair for me to have a dog and leave it stuck in the house all day while I'm at work, whereas the cat can just come and go as he pleases. I'm sure that many people are in the same situation.
