School Production!

I have just got home from my daughter's school production. I was expecting the usual from the 10 to 12 year olds but it was funny as hell! It was a piss take of Superman. The jokes were coming thick and fast and at one point I just could not stop laughing. All the kids put a lot of effort into the acting and I forgot I was watching a bunch of kids - I wanted to see what happened next.

Sample jokes:

"I shall make him weak by using Craptonite."
"Craptonite?"
"Yes, if you think it is Craptonite, you should have seen last night!"

Another :

"So tell your wife!"
"I haven't spoken to my wife for 3 years!"
"Why not?"
"I hate to interrupt!"

"Who are you?"
"I am the most evil woman from Russia!"
"So you are....?"
"Yes! Olga the vulgar from the Volga!"

My daughter (10) played a cleaning woman and she put on a London accent!

The kids sang about 7 or 8 songs (my daughter sang one!)

A great evening! Any of you lot been to a great school production?

You must be so proud! I love the Craptonite joke. I'll have to remember that one.

Gotta love schtick like that, and if some little kids can actually pull it off in the school show then so much the better.

I work with a guy who cracks jokes like that non-stop and relentlessy. It happened in a scene once in Family Guy with the doctor and I was thinking ... "it's me, someone understands how annoyed I am".

Good job on the having of a comic gold daughter.
