I lived in Arkansas for a while, Helena, the 2nd home of the delta blues. Anyhoo, behind this gas station was a panther in a cage. Suprisingly, when called like a kitty it would come over and rub it's head on the bars and purr.

Why not? Cats are cats, and if this one was well-treated it could certainly relate well to people. You should hear what tigers have to say!

Well, I have heard of them. Domestic cats that have been disregarded and have evolved into bigger teeth and larger ears right?
