Live Recordings from a gig we played Labor Day..

..we played our 2nd annual outdoor bash this past Labor Day...we call the party JelloFest due to the large amount of jelloshots consumed...had great weather, we played outside on a lake, haven't felt fully recovered until today(Vodka &Redbulls for me!)...the recordings came out pretty raw and rough sounding...especially compared to the high quality live recordings you guys put up here, but, we are just a bunch of amateur hacks playing the music we dig, and I thought you all might get a chuckle out of it
Here is a few tunes:

Adams Apple (Aerosmith Cover):

Thanks man..not to happy with my guitar sound that day..I had just bought a bbe sonic maximizer, and had the bright idea of trying it out at the gig ...I think I kinda had the settings to high, especially on the hi -end..Ive read that a little goes a long way with that thing, and that seems to be true!

Here is a few more for those interested.

Wanton Song is awesome. Might just be cuz I love Zeppelin, but whatever.

A few things. . . The songs don't have much bottom end that I can tell. The vox stick out alot to me too. Not bad performance. . .

It sounds like you just didn't have any post-recording mixing, which is fine for live stuff.

The performances are great though, which is the important thing.

Thanks! It was recorded with 1 stereo mic to my minidisk walkman recorder...dumped it from there to my pc to chop up the wavs, convert to mp3 , and dump it to my soundclick site....no eq or post recording mixing at all...so it is pretty raw....we struggle getting any good low end into our sound.
thanks again for the performance compliment...you are to kind!

Thanks Dog, yeah it was pretty fun , untill a firework was launched sideways , and hit a pontoon boat out in the lake , that pretty much brought the cops/DNR guys and they pulled the plug
