MacBook Pro Restarts When I install Pro tools

Ive tried to install pro tools 7.0 le on my brand new Mac computer numerous times and every time I attempt to do so it freezes and restarts when I insert my MBox 2 or open the Pro tools application.
I've tried to contact DigiDesign Technical Support but they suck.
If you've fallen victim to this conundrum also and solved it or know where I can find a solution leave any suggestions you may have.

I'm pretty sure you need ProTools 7.3 for an Intel Mac, which is what a MacBook Pro is.

There you go, you need 7.1.1 or better for your MacBook Pro.
