I am tired and confused

All these different way to make music and record it is really confusing me. I am looking for the easiet setup using my computer. I got andvil studio, sonic foundry acid, fruity loops, and I am about to get a sounblaster soundcard. I am most likely going to get cakewalk pro audio. What would be the easiet most user friendly keyboard and software that can make some timbaland, manny fresh, swizz, etc type beats? Do I need other accessories like a mixer or some sound modules? Do I need alot of midi ports to hook this stuff up?


My computer is a compaq. Specs are 64mb ram.
700 mhz
20.gb
