Im starting a recording studio

I'm looking to start a recording studio. I want to be able to record, edit, and hopefully burn my songs to a CD. I need help with what equipment i need and how I would go about setting it up and working it. I play guitar and drums and my brother plays bass. We're looking to record our songs piece by piece and mix it together and edit it.
