Through A Glass: Darkly
There's this cute little calico feral cat we've been trying to catch for weeks, but she's very wary. Finally today I got close enough to take a picture of her through our sliding glass door, which together with her name, Darkly, gives me this terrific pun.

I used to have a three-legged cat that came to us as a stray. I named her "Nuggets" because of her black fur peppered with orange.
I used to tell people her previous owner was a butcher.

And before any cat lovers get offended, the above story is true. The stray was already three-legged when she first came to me. I have no idea how she lost the leg, the amputation appeared clean and healed, I took great care of her until she died peacefully, and had she understood, she would've thought the butcher joke was pretty damn funny.
