Unhappy

hi Im new here and I just would like some feed back on my music..
I only use a program called REASON for all my work together with
a small 49 key midi controler..I soon hope to buy an MPC some day and redo all my tracks
when I have all the right equipment...
I just need to know where I am lacking in my production..they are just intrumentals
all I have is 5 tracks at http://artists.mp3s.com/artists/198/brooklyn_manny.html

also I like to know who els uses REASON to produce hip/hop instrumentals or just music in general.
all I use is sound forge to atleast try to make it sound the way it should...

thanks in advance for your help and advice

yo Manny...

THE SAD VIOLINS: nice samples in there... the symphonic stuff is good and you switch it up a lot. you definately need an emcee on this track. I also like how the drum patterns switch up in the midde...

TIGHT SPOT: was that a drive-by!?! nice bumpin bass line - cool weather effects, one of the samples sounds a little out of place (too keyboard-like), once again, good variation of sequences and nice production technique... good shit.

BATTLE BEAT VOL 1: well, you took my name, but I like the uptempo drum track. The bass could use a little more filtering and EQing, but the vibe of the track is good. I would skratch to this track for a LONG TIME if it was looped...

Hit me back-

Nah... Not me... I've been using reason for a long time... I just wish I would have peeped the MPC back in the day... I didn't know it was so revered or even that it existed... AKA... I started on my own without guidance... lol..
