Boss Micro BR
Thats right. Another Boss Micro BR thread.
I received this unit today, haven't got round to using it yet though. My question is: If I was to by a dynamic mic, would I be able to just get a XLR to Jack converter and plug this straight into one of the inputs on my BR? Thanks in advance. |

Yes, and for miking instruments it might do OK. But if the BRs input preamps are typical of those in lower cost recorders, getting enough gain on the vocals might present a challenge that you wouldn't have to deal with if you used an external preamp or mixer into the BR's LINE input.

Exactly, the sound wouldn't be too low if you do it that way. Another option is to get a Electret Microphone and use it on the Line In.
