MMT8? Wow, blast from the past! Sure, it is real simple
to use, looks cool, I never had a problem with it.

Of course, compared to a software sequencer it is
a toy. No tempo changes, no..... well, actually no
ANYTHING, by todays standards, but if you want to
lay down some tracks and do basic quantizing, it
works fine.

Talking Good old MMT8

I still use it often as a metronome....
Sometime I'll record a basic Midi Drum, Bass and Keyboard loop to use as a click track/chord guide. This is usually later erased and replaced by real instruments, but sometimes I'll keep the sequenced piano parts, and they make it all the way to the final mix!

I like the simple controls, just like a tape recorder.
