Not sure if I'm ready for Pro Tools.....

Pro Tools is the easiest piece of audio software to use by far. It has advantages/disadvantages like any piece of software, but it's easy, powerful, and the industry standard. I've got 7 free PT newbie videos under the downloads link in my sig. They'll get you started even if you've never used PT before.
