BOSS dd3, again...

ok i've asked this before but i want to ask again before i shell out $70+ dollars for boss to repair my damn pedal.....ok so i have a DD3, and one day while playing, the signal just cut out..it was in my FX loop, so everything cut out and i thought my amp crapped out...turns out it was the DD3....when plugged into the output, nothing comes through, only a bit of like static noise....but when plugged into the dry direct out, the signal comes through, therefore there must be a problem with either the output jack or the chip or soemthing....does anyone here with electronics knowledge have any idea what it could be so i could do this myself? thanks!!

I'd take the cover off and poke around for a loose connection.

If boss is going to charge you $70 to fix it, you may as well just buy a new one.

It sounds like a quick fix, could you try and contact Boss directly, tell them the predicament, tell them you like thier pedals and they've never crapped out on you before....you don't have any kind of warranty to avail of?
