DC power for effect processor?
I just picked up the new pocket pod to mess with some recording ideas. I noticed that it needs a 9v 200ma DC power supply. Does that mean it has to be the exact specs? Or can it be like a 9v 300ma adapter? I don't wanna spend on the line 6 plug when I can go to radio shack and get one for like half the price. Can any tech savvy members answer this? Thanks guys.

A higher mA rating is fine as long as the voltage is correct, the pin size is correct, and the polarity is correct.

Thanks for the answer. The only other thing the manual said was that its a center negative?

Yeah they like to do that, I think just to make their customer's lives miserable. Mention that to the boys at the Shack; if they don't understand, don't buy what they are selling. I think they have a universal adaptor that has several different plug sizes, and they are reversible so you can get correct polarity. But that might not be cheaper than the OEM part.

Thanks for the tips mshilarious. I picked up a universal adapter for the same price as the OEM plug but it is more worth it cuz of all the voltage selections it has and came with several different tips as well. My POD works fine with it and now I can get back to work
