question on amp availibilities and values H&K

Hey I own a couple of nice Hughes and Kettner "pro class" amps.

I saw on another web site that Hughes and kettner were pulling out of the US market, or should I say they will not have US dealers anymore.

1) anyone know if this is true
2) will that have a possitive or negative effect on the value of my amp?

my thinking is it may increase the value since they will be harder to find but, also if they are no longer really known in the US, will they go into the "who cares" file?

Opinions ??

It could go either way. But no dealer I has stopped selling them yet. But in most cases there is usually always someone who is looking for what you have.

Im thinking of holding on to them for a while to see if their value will go up. They are great amps. In my opinion way better than marshall, mesa and about any "typical" brand name of amps.

do you work in a store?
