What's the cpu on the laptop?

How many simultaneous tracks have you been able to do?

What are the OSs? Any software? Etc. etc. etc.

The desktop can handle recording about 6 at once. It's got Windows XP Home on it. No software that matters except Photoshop 7, really. The laptop has Windows 2000 on it. This is a page with more info on the latop: http://support.ap.dell.com/support/e...n_ug/specs.htm
