Yo I'm bout to hook up Desert Ease with some sickness here in a min whenever i can get a hold of him. He said he's gonna host em on his website so it should be a nice lil sample exchange thing going back & forth here. Hey yo Boogie what kind of sounds are in this kit here? Like what general of music would you call this towards hip hop & rap? Is this some dirty-south,west coast, east coast sounds or a mix of everything? Give us some details homie if you could. What kind of instruments are in this if there's any. I got some nice shit i'm gonna hook up.

First i'm gonna hook up some west coast world beat samples. Some shit with some nice arabic instruments and world sounds but don't worry it's hip hop. Then i'm gonna give desert some nice spanish guitar licks. I need these real bad but i got some ill ones.
So get ready for these i think yall are gonna like these. These are some professional type shits where the sound quality is really great. I'll see if i can get a hold of desert in a min. see if he can make em like 40 mb rar's

I really suck at percussion, but i'm workign on my melodies and i really do love hip hop

I really want to get good at making beats and the only way to learn is hanging with you guys on here

I help you with some samples and software and you give me some advice on how to improve my beats.

How do you import the sounds into the program? I use project 5, and I've been looking all over the place for a simple explanation but the project5 website offers very little help. Am I going to have to open some sort of template file then load each sound individually or is there a fast way to load an entire directory of .wav files into the program?

I would assume you would have to go to your program files and then go to the project 5 folder...then some where down the line should be a "sound" folder...once you get there extract all your sounds into the folder by copying and pasting...I dont have Project 5 so Im going blind eyed

I think this deserves to be bumped in case folks missed it... drum preset sounds are lacking in like all of the major production software. It took me a minute before I realized how to import new wav files into project5 but now that I know how to do it I'm actually halfway towards producing something that I would want to show to other people. Not quite yet though. i just want to show love because these packs have a lot of really nice stuff in it. the outkast drum kit is too much by itself
