Dr-880
I just picked up a Boss DR-880, and it is a kickin' little box. Brand new for about $400 off Ebay.
It has their COSM chip for a variety of guitar sounds, 400 preset drum samples, and a cool bass feature. You can set bass chord progressions and jam along. So, I got a drummer and a bass player that don't mind backing me up during practice. |

Yo "Your Lake:"
The Boss 880 drum box is a very good box. Been using it for some time now and it has such crystal clear patches. You're right; you have a drummer you don't have to call, pay, or give away your good booze. You can also invite a bass player to jam with you and plug his axe right into the drum box. Amazing bit of technology. [No, I don't work there.] Enjoy, Green Hornet
