US144 output signals

Hi all,

I am running XP SP2 with 2 sound cards (X-fi Gamer and Audiophile 2496 - the Audiophile is just for ASIO)
I have the US144 hooked up to a set of monitors and can get a microphone signal through the headphone jack.
I am running Logic Delta 4 (i misplaced my Cubase license and have recently upgraded computers - Logic was the only software i had that i had).
I can get my USB midi keyboard recording and playing back through Logic but...
I cannot get any Audio sound being picked up by the computer from the Tascam unit at all.

I have updated the firmware, drivers and tried to follow all instructions. All software is legit.

I have had the unit for 6 months. I tried to get it all sorted when i got it, but had problems then as well. Since i have a little time on my hands - does anyone have any advice - either on what to do or even where to read... all of TASCAM's literature seems to be solely based on Cubase LE...
