Tascam 234 Syncaset Backlight Bulb Replacement?

Hello Everyone,
This is my first post here and I am hoping you guys can help me track down a couple of replacement backlight bulbs for my 2 Tascam 234 Syncaset 4-Tracks.
Just to clarify, the bulb I'm talking about is the small bulb housed in an orange plastic enclosure that rests behind the cassette tape so you can see how much tape is left.
Also, can anyone tell me when the backlit bulbs were meant to turn on? When the 234 turns on? When a cassette is inserted?

Tascam Parts would probably have one.

I recall that bulb replacement job as a total teardown of the unit.

The bulb is supposed to illuminate whenever the unit is on.

I think you are right about a total tear down Reel Person. I should have done it when I was replacing the belts! Even still I may have to go there, something about a little orange backlit square that calls to me. Fix... Me...

They have one here in DeLand that the guy wants $100 for. worth it?
