Sync problem when exporting tracks

Hey guys, a couple of days ago I recorded a demo for a band. The vocal takes are in a seperate project, so I have to export/copy them to the main project.

Here's where my problem comes up: no matter matter what I try, after exporting/copying the takes are out of sync. I tried:
- 'Export/import selected tracks'
- Simple drag and drop
- I tried it with linear and with musical timebase
- I tried to group or lock the takes
- I converted the events to parts

Nothing helped! I hope one of you guys can help me out, it would mean a lot to me, thanks!

Why not mixdown and export the music from the main project to a single stereo wave file starting from zero and then import it into the project with the vocals starting at zero on another stereo track?

Yeah thats probably what I have to do.. Thanks.

I wanted to select the best takes after exporting, it would take a lot less time than mixing down leadvox + a couple of backings. This wont be the last time I have to do something like this, so anyone other suggestions?
