DM-24 word clock...

Hi I bought one of the first DM24's to come out, it's the one with the crappy pots and faulty LCD (already has horizontal lines burned on it)

I download the latest version.

I just picked up a used 2408 MKIII and my question is, which would be the higher quality word master?
