recording drumming

hell guys i have a stupid newb question, i have a mbox 2 pro, which i think is great but i was wondering how i could expand it to get more imputs i was wonder if it would work witha firepod or somthing, cause i wanna record drums but i don't got enough ins 4 all the mikes

I think aphex or presonus make preamps that you could hook up via spdif to give you a couple more inputs, don't know the mbox too well to give any more advice than that.

yeah the main difference of the mbox 2 pro vs the mbox 2 is that the pro has six inputs as opposed to 4. get a pre with a spidf output such as the ART DMPA and go for it.

as cheap as possible, as im only in need of these imputs for drum work

just buy the M-Audio Delta 1010 soundcard, is what I use anyway.
