8Pre Drums?

I just got my Motu 8pre and wanted to do a test run in my new room. I am not worried about the mixing flaws (toms are overgated for instance, and I am monitoring on headphones as my monitors are not hooked up in the new place yet) nor the playing (i am not a drummer), I just want to get a general opinion on the overall sound..

Equipment used is as follows
Kick - Audix D6 > ART MPA Gold
Snare - Audix I5 > ART MPA Gold
High Tom (right) - Sennheiser e609S
Low Tom (left) - AT Pro 25
Overheads - MXL603s

Drums are Mapex M's (maple shells) with a Ludwig brass Acrolite Snare
