I have no idea if it's good or not because I haven't used it - but I have a couple of questions regardless:
Do you have the wireless receiver?
What do you plan on using it for?

If you want more info - here's the manual on the entire audio/video set that it comes with: http://www.sennheiser.com/me/icm.nsf...e/EW100_US.pdf

My instinct would be to not use a wireless video mic for recording.
But having never used that mic - or much wireless microphone technology in general - I can't say that I have a very strong basis for this opinion.

Try it. If it sounds good to you - then go for it.

At the same time - I would try to get a hold of some other mics (maybe some commonly used for recording) as a basis for comparison.

Good luck.
Post some clip if you can.

I don't have one of those but normally a wireless mic like that would be used for live work because of the freedom having it wireles brings.

For recording you have more freedom to choose a mic based on it's sound and performance and avoid extra things that contribute noise, for example the wireless radio stage.

If the vocalist needs to have the mic in his hand because he gives the best performance that way or because he works the mic (changes distance from his mouth to the mike for effect) then you could try that mic or a similar leaded mic. Similarly if you already have the mic for live work and want to avoid buying another one then try it and see.

Otherwise there is a whole range of other mics for recording.

CFSound is on a distinguished road
I have mixed a couple of singers using this mic live and I was quite impressed with it on male vocal. The place I was working only had Audio Technica wireless so this was a nice change. If you do live stuff this mic can be a bit picky, but you may like it on a select number of singers. Good gain before feedback for loud monitor mixes. Cheers, -DJ

Probably not a good recording mic.
