New AT4040 owner
Sounds way much better than the 4033 on the high end. Not brittle nor dark just very neutral. Now i just need to grab a better pre than my 1202's and see how far i can get. Anyone want a v69me.

I got a used one about 2 weeks ago and havnt had the chance to use it....I have an accoustic session on Wed. and plan to pull it out then....When I got it, I made one of the changes that Michael Joly does to all of his mods...I pulled out the inner basket....just because...dont know if it will make it better or worse....we will see on Wed.
