My Hands Are full of wood

because I made 6 of these

I used Andyhix's design from this thread http://homerecording.com/bbs/showthread.php?t=228169
but altered it a little due to lack of materials/skills

Instead of using a nut and bolt I used a large drill hole and a smaller drill hole side by side so the shaft of the nail would sit in the smaller hole but the head would only fit through the big hole

Better explained by a picture.

Thanks AndyHix!

Looks pretty good. Did you use specifically the same supplies mentioned in the other thread? How much total did you spend on these. I'm going to have to do this eventually.

I just used cheap pine and screws and banged it all together mostly freehand, I'm crap at carpentry.

Altogether It cost me about £18 for wood, £3 for screws, £8 for the fabric (weed control fabric from a garden centre) and about £30 for 6 boards of rockwool, so about £60

And Giraffe, you've posted 2477 times in a slightly shorter time than I've posted 158, so I think you could maybe use one yourself
