Cubase with mackie Control new to midi help
OK, I am finally hooking up my new gear. I have a Mackie Control Universal set up running the MIDI thru my sound card (RME Hammerfall Multiface). What the heck do I need to do to get Cubase to talk to my MCU??

On the tool bar go to Devices/Device set-up. on the pop-up screen click the little + sign in the upper left corner and another pop-up will display showing all of the control surfaces that are supported. Click on the Mackie Control Universal, now back on the device set-up screen under "REMOTE DEVICES" you should see "MACKIE" click remote devices, set your RME as the midi I/O and hit the reset button at the bottom and your faders should fly to 0. Oh, and trust me you will love that unit, I cant understand how I did it with out it.
