two pairs of socks...

which of you folks plays with two sets of hi-hats? how do you set up your kit?

my tubs are 4,000 miles from here, but when i get home this fall, i'm thinking of setting up both pairs of zildjians: 13" (thin) and 14" (thicker--i have no further specs at hand).

i'm a minimalist who normally rocks a two piece, so, elbow to elbow, i've got acres of space available.

suggestions?

If I gig with my full kit then I have a second set of hats (in the closed position) mounted next to my ride (no remote pedal - just the closed hats)

If I had a second pair, that's what I'd do.

I generally play 4-piece with hi-hats, crash, ride, and occaisionally a swish, keep it simple like
