Automation problems w/Reaktor and Cubase

Howdy,

i've been having some automation problems w/ Reaktor 5 and C4.

i'm using the pitch shifter module and have been trying to automate both the "shift" knobs and the "mix" knobs. everything writes the way it's supposed to, the stuff shows up in the automation tracks and everything, but when i playback/read the auto. nothing happens......

the auto's not muted, the track is set to read, as far as i can tell everything's the way it's supposed to be.....
anybody know if i'm missing something or is this a bug?

It could be Reaktor being Reaktor. Is the pitch shifter a download from the Reaktor UL? If so, please let me know which one it is, and I can download it and give it a try.

Alternately, do MIDI learn to assign MIDI controllers to the knobs, and do the automation via a MIDI track in Cubase. That's how I usually automate Reaktor in Cubase and haven't had any issues.

the pitch shifter isn't a download or anything, it's just one of the effects.

i'll try using a controller first thing tomorrow when i get a chance, it just seems weird that the information shows up in the track but doesn't do anything....
