Tascam 246 Song

Just messing around with some synth sounds from my Yamaha MU80 and put them down on the 246, did a quick mix and wanted to see what you guys think about some of the sounds the 246 is able to capture. The only thing I did once I got it into the computer was normalize it a little bit, other than that it's the 246 supplemented by an fmr rnc, rnla, lexicon lxp-1&5 and a symetrix se-400 stereo parametric equalizer. I'm going to post in the song forum as well. Like I said, it's just messing around, but I think it captures a little bit of that cassette recording magic. By the way, I'm not very good at the synth yet . Just visit the link below:

Thumbs up This rocks!!

Many would not believe [except us analog folk] that this was recorded on a cassette based system. EXCELLENT is all I can say!

Thanks cjacek! Glad you like it. Cassette rocks! Synths really stick to this format quite nicely. 4 tracks of synth, that's it. Thanks for the answer to the pitch control question I had earlier too. I appreciate it.

Yeah, the synth is kinda like an exercise in frequencies and the 246 captures these beautifully with its own "creamy" tone. You're welcome.
