Sb Live Stoping Studio Module From Working?

Im using cubase VST32 Win98se and a SB Live 1024.

I was using a AWE 64 and had setup a JV1080 studio module for patch selection in cubase and worked fine?

But now Im using the SB Live when I select the only MIDI output that works being the SBLIVE MIDI UART it disables the studio module from being selected?

When I select the studio module it selects the Microsoft GS Wavable as a out put and lets me select patches for my JV1080 but with no MIDI out to it.

I realy need this patch selection.
