Keyboard - Synth

Hey

I'm looking for and insturnemt that i can used to add piano and strings to my home recordings can anyone point me in the direction of what might be best i'm just looking for somthing i can plug into my digi 002 mixer and play to add stings and piano to my recordings

I understand if i want a good string or piano sound recorded the really thing. but that aint gonna happen in my home studio in my celler.

P.S i did see the previous Thread but the question didn't seem to be answerd

Any Ideas?

Look at a roland fantom rack if you already have a midi keyboard and invest in some of the SRX expansion cards from roland.

You'll probably find the included sounds good enough for a while at least

Digidesign (for a long time) was giving away a plug-in called Expand. Giving it away as in free.

It has some outstanding string sounds and a VERY passable piano.
