I've read the ads for products like deoxIT to clean cables and connectors. Does this really improve conductivity and do you use these products ?
If so, what do you recommend and how often ? |

Cramolin...........
...I was under the impression that it was off the market and replaced by DeOxit until someone on RAP pointed out it is still available...

I use this stuff called CRC 2-26. It's available at places like home depot or any electrical supply shop. I don't have any schedule for cleaning, suppose I just do it when something sounds scratchy or when I feel like it. It does make a difference though.
I think you can huff it too, but it might kill you. ![]() |
