triton sequancer help?!

hey yall, i just bought a 2gig sandisk compact flash

i put it in..the triton recognizes it under media..but i cant record in the sequancer..i press the record button and nothing happans! when i try to do GM initialize it says" memory protected"...but if i just try to record nothing happens at all..when i chem mem status it says 99% free...any ideas?
