why doesn't a echoplex have a sync head

why doesn't a echoplex have a sync head? or a sync head output?

record head in the input
sync head is a TAP output???
playback head is the output?

whats the difference from the interval gap delay from taking the output of off the sync head VS taking it off the playback head?

whats the difference between sync head slap back VS playback head slap back?

'Cause it wouldn't work. Being out of sync is part of being an Echoplex. Try a Roland Space Echo.
