M-Audio MidAir
My keyboardist used an M-Audio MidAir (wireless MIDI) with his remote keyboard last week. Some initial thoughts:
(1) Don't open the box right before a gig and expect to get it going. The battery compartment markings and directions in general are not user friendly. M-Audio claims 20 hours continuous use for two AA batteries. (2) Have a thin metal paper-clip handy to reset the recessed seek/setup button. (3) The claimed 30-ft operating range is a little conservative. (4) When you do go beyond the operating range, the system resets MIDI volume to 127. (5) All in all, he had a blast being wireless. So far, it's a keeper. Paj 8^)
