Wierd problem
On my FX tracks, the eq doesn't seem to be working, and if I add a vst eq in after the original effect (as an insert) it won't work either. I swear it worked before. They show up and I can change the settings and such, but I high passed the bejeezus out of it without any change.......
Any ideas?

I checked it again, and the level goes down in the meter, but the sound doesn't change (I have the FX track solo'd). D'oh, I think I may have just figured it out. I'll be right back.....

OK, I am an idiot.......
When I "solo" the FX track, it also "solo's" all the tracks associated with it. They were WAY louder than the FX track, so it sounded like nothing was happening. Problem solved. Thanks.

I was just about to mention that same possibility
It has always bothered me how the gian structure of different effects is so different by default. LIke when you have a snare track for example and you hit the aux send to the sanre verb at about 50% and you get a nice smooth reverb. Then you try and change the reverb to a different one, or even a different convolution sample. All of a sudden you are swimming in reverb even though the send is at the same place.
