Noisy Keyboard Recording

When recording piano from my roland on to my Boss DAW I hear a snowy-type hissing sound - anyone know how to eliminate this noise?

Try bringing the volume down on the keyboard and get the recording level you need from your DAW. You can bring the volume down on the input of the BOSS unit to about the 3/4 level.
Or the reverse may apply, bring the volume down of the input on the BOSS unit and bring up the volume on the keyboard.

If what was suggested from Gorty doesn't work you may have a noisy keyboard.
