hi thanx bhlewis, u know there are different brands in the markets with different costs ,but I really don't know which one will give me the best result during the mix.and also I can not examine them before buying cause I want to buy them from abroad by someone else,so I should try to catch information from the others who have exprienced them before.I am searching for something around 900-1000$.if u have someother information about it i 'll be glad to hear

Roland DS-90s are tailor made for the VS series. I use DS-90s with my VS-1680, and find them to be just great. As with any near-field monitors, it's most important to set them up correctly. Think of an equilateral triangle with sides of about 1 to 1.5 metres, with your head at one of the points, and the monitors at the other two points, at about head height, angled towards you. The main reason to use near-field monitors is that their sound tends to be influenced less by the listening room.
Good Luck - - Wil PS I've seen the DS-90s as low as $450/ea |
