I'm using a Firewire Solo, which is fairly similar. A few questions: what are you trying to record (guitar/vocal/other), what recording program are you using, how high do you have the dials to get any sound? The preamps in the Fast Track don't have much power, similar to the Solo, but you should be able to get an alright sound out of if, at least for vocals. I was never able to get a good acoustic guitar sound out of my interface alone. Areyou getting hiss or just a lack of clarity?
