Anythoughts on the Yamaha PSR E403?

I want to get my first keyboard, only something to see if i can learn/enjoy them and ive seen this keyboard at a price i think is reasonable.

Any thoughts on it as a first keyboard? Dont think ill be using it for any home recording or any sort of performance just at home for a bit of a giggle to see if i get on with it really.

Good? Bad? He must be mad?

The Yamaha site doesnt say much about it really.

The Pisser is just a toy, I'm afraid.

Look for an old Korg X5D or Roland U-20

Some of those are OK. If you use the audio outputs and plug into a home stereo or monitors, they can sound surprisingly good. For the money they are a lot of fun.

Thanks it will be plugged up to my home studio and PC most probably

All i really want is something to see if im going to be interested in keeping it on, if i do ill go for something more high end or with a bigger budget, i just dont want to spunk my money on a Tyros 2 if i aint gunna use it. Done that with my guitars, bought plenty of 'em but still only play the one

I have one similar..its not always good to have a piano with speakers(or so i heard), cause it kind of shows that its a bit...unprofessional. But I mean, for what i do with it..and the piano/string sounds, its pretty good for such a low price. I'm thinking about upgrading to an M-Audio(digital piano), or a different type of digital piano, since thats mostly what I use. It has a lot of helpful good things, and it sounds pretty decent too.
