akai dps 12 v2

hello there, this is my first posting, about 300 years ago i bought a akai dps 12 v2 with cd writer, the latter has now been consigned to a better place, leaving me right in the ####. i wonder if any of you good people out there know of a place where perchance i might find a replacement for my ricoh rw7060s cd/cdrw thing or similar as any such trace of these estimable beasts seems to have vanished off the face of the earth.

yours humbly,

roger pancake

Huh? Are you looking for a 2 track CD recorder/writer? The Alesis Masterlink is pretty cool but there are others out there.

Roger,

A great resource for Akai equipment is the Akai Pro users forum...
http://akaipro5k6kuser.proboards30.com/index.cgi

Folks there are usually very helpful and aware of where to look for replacement parts and peripherals. In fact, the man who designed much of Akai's pro gear frequents the site. Give 'em a try!

good luck!
