tascam m-224 ac plug

I want to use my tascam m-224 for live shows. Mine came with a 2 prong power cord with no indication of polarity on it. Is there anyone out there who has successfully converted this board to a 3 prong? And when I mean successfull, I mean wiring it so it doesnt do the zap thing to anyone using a stage mic. GULP!

Neither side is tied to the chassis. I’ve never heard of any zapping problems with the M-200 series. My M-216 and M-208 are the same way.

Thanks for the reply. I have looked more closely at the cord itself. One wire is ribbed which identified it as neutral. That was of course my main problem since the plug had both prongs the same size allowing it to plug in either way into an outlet. I opened the mixer and found the secondary of the the transformer grounded to the chassis. I decided to put a 3 prong on for now since it will only allow me to plug into an outlet one way with the optional ground wire if I need it. Thanks again.
