I have an old edition of Roland User Group Magazine that Roland send out and there is a section that talks about the original VS-880 working with cakewalk. It says you can hook up the SCSI port to the computer and transfer Audio from the VS-880 to cakewalk. They even show a picture of cakewalk with the VS-880 wave files as a track. Has anyone every done this and how can I do it. I have cakewalk Pro audio 9. Please Help.

Hi there!!!
We own a VS880ex and we had the same problem when we started, but with several "butt-hours" (that means I was practically NAILED to my chair) we figured it out... First of all, youīll have to get a SCSI cable (youīll need a SCSI port on your computer) with a SCSI end, and a DB25 end (thatīs for the Roland, itīs the same thing you use to connect a printer). We use software specially designed for this application called POLAR SONIC VSTRANSFER. If you have all this ready let us know if you canīt go on from there... Hope itīs not too late. PC
